Andriy Dovbenko

Entrepreneur, Investor, & Philanthropist

Andriy Dovbenko is a Ukraine-born, London-based entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist.

With two decades of experience spanning law, real estate, agriculture, and technology, Andriy began his career with the Big Four (PwC, EY) before rising to leadership roles in international law firms. In 2018, he founded EVRIS Invest and EVRIS Asset Management, backing ventures in IT, fintech, and agri-tech. Informed by his deep affiliation with Ukraine, he is now focused on adding defence tech to his portfolio.

Andriy is widely recognised as one of the most influential connectors between the UK and Ukrainian defence innovation ecosystems. He is the founder and principal of UK-Ukraine TechExchange, a non-profit launched in 2023 that bridges UK and Ukrainian defence and agri-tech startups with Western investors, mentors, and partners—helping them scale solutions that are saving lives today and will underpin Europe’s long-term resilience.

Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Andriy focused on philanthropy and private donations.

At the heart of TechExchange’s mission is Andriy’s personal approach: he hand-picks and champions defence innovations that are battle-proven in Ukraine, ensuring they become investable at scale for the wider European defence ecosystem.

Andriy often shares his views on European defence in opinion pieces in The Financial Times, Professional Wealth Management, Fortune, City AM, Sifted, and Washington Post.
