Joe Stringer has over 27 years of experience in Health technology and impact investing, spanning strategy consulting, technology implementation and investment. He was previously market lead for Google Health in EMEA, a partner for 10 years in the health practice at EY, and most recently led the Healthtech team at Octopus Ventures.

 Today Joe is a Partner at L1 Impact, a £500m investment fund of funds focused on health, education and financial inclusion.  He is also a NED at Holland & Barrett, Chair at Automata lab automation, and holds multiple advisory roles with startups solving issues in dementia, male mental health, the NHS and at-home diagnostics.  Pertinent to the discussion, he is a Board advisor to Mettle, the worlds first mental health platform dedicated to men, co-founded by Bear Grylls.
