Responsible for all investment-related functions at CHF 500m+ Swiss single family office (SFO), including portfolio management, risk management, asset allocation, portfolio construction, research, deal sourcing, investment due diligence and oversight of operational due diligence. Oversight of internal back office functions, including mentoring and leading the Family Office Manager and internal team across multiple jurisdictions (Switzerland, UK, Jersey, St. Barts) and multiple entities (investment company, trust company and yacht management company). Oversight of external back office functions, including: monitoring the outsourced fiduciary & trust functions (Ocorian Jersey) and liaising with service providers (accounting, legal and custody). End-to-end operational financial processes (covering both internal and external back office functions) comprising: annual budgeting, personal tax returns, tax planning (Swiss forfeit tax regime and UK personal tax returns), estate and financial planning, accounting functions (accounts payable / accounts receivable / payroll), monthly bank account reconciliation, tracking key performance indicators (budget variance, invoice processing time, timeliness of reporting), insurance and treasury functions to ensure policies and procedures meet SFO objectives.
