In 1970, they arrived in the UK with nothing more than the clothes on their backs and a modest sum of money his parents had diligently saved. Their new chapter commenced in Basildon, Essex, a mere 15-minute drive from his current residence. The entire family displayed unwavering dedication, toiling relentlessly to forge a brighter future they knew they deserved. Through gradual acquisitions of shops and houses, they steadily amassed a thriving property portfolio, enabling them to make astute, larger investments and ultimately lead a comfortable life in their now-familiar surroundings.

Today, he holds the esteemed position of Managing Director at an award-winning care provider that boasts a workforce of over 1200 dedicated team members. The company, Hallmark Care Homes, remains a family-owned enterprise, and he firmly believes that the values instilled by his own family resonate throughout their care facilities. Grounded in their humble beginnings, he and his family have consistently prioritized making a positive impact on the lives of others. As a result, he actively serves as a trustee for various charitable foundations, including The Care Worker’s Charity and The Hemraj Goyal Foundation. Furthermore, the teams at Hallmark Care Homes are empowered to engage in a plethora of charitable initiatives, collectively raising substantial sums of money each year.
