Mr. Luke Lloyd-Davies

COO, The Rocket Entertainment Group; SFO of Sir Elton John and husband David Furnish

Luke began working for Sir Elton John and David Furnish in 2001 originally with their film production company, Rocket Pictures, after graduating with a BA and MA in History, Film & Television from Royal Holloway University. Luke then became Elton and David’s day-to-day manager at their London Private Office, running their private operations and investments for a number of years. During this time, he was also a partner of Rocket Music, the international management company co-owned by Sir Elton John and was responsible for finding, nurturing and representing talent such as Ed Sheeran, James Blunt, Lily Allen, Rag’n’Bone Man and Anne Marie, to name a few.

Through a mutual love for nurturing young talent, Elton and Luke co-founded Rocket Sports Management in 2012. Their vision was to create unforgettable sporting moments for athletes, rights holders and partnering organisations; they manage some of today’s most treasured sporting talent including British Olympians Dame Laura Kenny, Sir Jason Kenny and Geraint Thomas OBE. They also represent the interests and leverage the IP of numerous household brand names and events. In 2016, Elton and Luke sold part of the company to a group of influential investors who assisting in taking the company into its next chapter. Luke remains a shareholder and chairman at Rocket Sports.

Today, Luke heads up Sir Elton and David’s Global Private Office and their Rocket Entertainment Group, overseeing all of their operations, personal finances, assets, property, infrastructure, businesses and investments. He is a Director of many of the Elton John businesses including Rocket Music, Rocket Pictures, Rocket Sports, Rocket Stage and the Elton John Optical Company.

In 2018, Luke oversaw the launch and management of Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road World Tour; a triumphant announcement live-streamed globally in partnership with Google and YouTube which garnered the most successful Amex pre-sale to date, plus awards such as 5 Clio Awards, 6 OneShow Awards, 3 Hermes Awards, AD&D Pencil and a Cannes Lions. Luke has since brokered, facilitated and led ground-breaking partnerships for the Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour with organisations such as John Lewis, Snickers, Doritos, Roblox, Vodafone, Google, Apple and Alliance for Lifetime Income.

In 2023, the Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour earnt unrivalled status in becoming the highestgrossing tour of all time and the first-ever tour to gross just over $930 million, winning awards such as Top Rock Tour (Billboard, 2019 & 2020), Tour Of The Year (2020 iHeart Radio Music Award) and Major Tour Of The Year Award (Pollstar, 2020).

In January 2024 Luke won an Emmy for his work as an Executive Producer alongside Elton John and David Furnish for the historic three-hour Disney+ Global Livestream of Elton John’s final North American Tour Show at Dodger Stadium in November 2022; a live special produced with Fulwell73 and Rocket Entertainment.

Luke sat on the Advisory Board for Metro Bank in 2018 and 2019. He served as a Member of the Governing Body of the Royal Academy of Music in London for 3 years, and is Senior Advisor to the Venture Collective. He has advised numerous family offices, business entities and start-ups over the years and is passionate about venture, entrepreneurs and people.

Luke lives in Cranleigh, Surrey, with his wife Jules, their three children, 2 dogs and loves sport and travel.
