Ms. Kateryna Filippi
Kateryna is an investor, principal of her family office and philanthropist. As a new paradigm thinker, she believes that we can catalyse a systems-change transformation in financial markets that puts impact at the heart of it.
After Kateryna’s parents sold their shipping business (1st generation), she stood at the helm of her family office. She is also a founder and managing director of a holding company Impact Venture which invests in companies that create sustainable solutions to the world’s most pressing problems. Impact Venture supports radical and systemic change across three core themes: improving healthcare, mitigating climate change and reducing social and economic inequalities.
Kateryna, an Oxford and Harvard University graduate, started her career in diplomacy at the Council of Europe and at the European Court of Human Rights. On the philanthropic side, Kateryna co-founded the organisation ‘Plan for Peace’. She works with a three-time Nobel Prize nominee, Dr Scilla Elworthy, to prompt a change in humanity’s response to military conflict. Kateryna is based in London.
